For all the fees and fines you pay in 4 years at UA they ought to give one to you for free imho

graduated a couple weeks ago and I didn't get one. I just think they look weird. I'm not a fan of a guy wearing a ring at all except for wedding bands. and i guess championship rings.

nope, didn't think getting a college degree is big enough of a deal anymore to wear a ring around to advertise it.

Having a college degree still puts you in the minority in America. Only about 38% of people actually have their degree. It is still very much a big deal.

I agree 100% with this. My college ring is now sitting in the same box with my high school ring. Its just a nice thing to have.

I wear one all the time. However, I also got a simple siladium one without a stone to match my platinum wedding band. You have to look at it close to tell it's a graduation ring.

Mine has no stone, either. Its white gold, simple and has Old Main engraved onto one side and a Razorback on the other.

Depends how "flashy" it is. By dad has one from SCar, but it isn't overly big and has the SC seal on it, no diamonds or super shiny effect.. which if by the time I graduate SC it is still like that, then I'll probably get one.. if its too flashy and feminine then probably not.

not sure I would consider something almost 40% of the population has as being a big deal.

I have one from UA. I have worn it a total of 3 times I believe. I would only wear one all the time if it was from a service academy, but that's just me...

I don't know if I can justify 1,200 on a ring. I will probably not end up getting one.

Seems like it's a bigger deal for girls than guys. Especially high school rings.

I have a degree and a ring. Can't wear the ring because I way 25 pounds more that when I bought it. But I would if I could. Go Tigers.
