Its about checking/changing Paul's shitastic play calling, our RS-FR QB just isn't ready to bare this burden.
Arkansas having the best QB in the conference opens up the play book. I think the hogs will be fine this weekend. If not, I'll eat crow.

Looking at statistics:
Arkansas Offense vs. Rutgers Defense
Arkansas averages 26.67 ppg
Rutgers allows 8.33 ppg
Rutgers held South Florida to half its scoring average and Tulane to right at its scoring average. They shut out Howard. Cumulatively, they have held teams to 11 points below their scoring average.
Using that scale, Arkansas scores 15 points
Arkansas scored 13 more than Jacksonville State allows, right at UL-Monroe's scoring average, and 5 points less than Alabama allows. That averages out to 3 points above their opponents' scoring average.
Using that scale, Arkansas scores 11.
Rutgers Offense vs. Arkansas Defense
Rutgers averages 24 points per game.
Arkansas allows 37 points per game.
Arkansas held Jacksonville State to 1 point below their scoring average, ULM to 3 points above their scoring average and Alabama to 10 points above their scoring average. That comes out to allowing teams to score 4 points above their average.
Using that scale, Rutgers scores 27.
Rutgers scored 11 less than Tulane allows, 4 less than Howard allows, and 1 more than South Florida allows. That comes out to about 4 points less than their average.
Using that scale, Rutgers scores 20.
My answer to the original question: Rutgers scores between 24-31.

Ah but what about the Tyler Wilson factor. Even a rusty tyler wilson can frick a defense up. He's damn good and puts us in a much better position to win any game from here on out with the exception of LSU. (If wilson survives this game it will be a miracle, I hope the coaches do the right thing and yank him like we did last year at alabama much better to have a starting nfl qb than a college talent that can't spell potato anymore because he took to many blows to the head)

oh yea and I almost forgot.

If that formula actually worked, you'd be a very rich man. However, Wilson made the difference in the last 2 games and no two teams are the same. Nice theory though.

Rutgers has a one of the best defenses in the country, IIRC.
Yes, they do. And a QB who stands in the pocket and delivers, mostly to his two 6' 6" WRs.
It's a pretty solid ballclub, though young and with a first-year coach. They'll put up points on the Arky secondary.

Jordan Jefferson made the better version of this years secondary look bad last year. I'm starting to wonder why I ever thought they wouldn't suck. frick you K-state for being a shite team and setting my expectations of the defense way to high.

Not enough to win, our defense is about to turn a corner since we moved a true freshman, undersized running back to corner...

Exactly. Statistics aren't very worthwhile at the end of the season... in the fourth week they are totally worthless. Add in the fact that we played you guys and the only team with a pulse that Rutgers has played is USF and they are even more worthless than expected.
Since we are playing the stats game though: with Wilson under center, we have scored 70 points in 6 quarters (really 5.5...) for an average of 11.7 points per quarter. Without him we have scored 10 points in 6 quarters (reallly 6.5), yielding an average of 1.7 points per quarter.
That means we score 47 on Rutgers, right?

Tyler however will make a huge difference.
He's definitely more than just an average leader. He's the heart and soul of the team. Down goes Tyler, down goes the hogs.
