The Tigers have a ridiculous winning streak going. They are 86-0 when scoring more than 30 points so obviously if they can score 30 then they have a legitimate shot at winning plus the psychological aspect of getting to 30 points would have them believing.

I think they're held to 24-27 points though.

I would think that stat would work for a lot of teams - at least SEC teams. I wonder what Bama's win line is scoring over 30 . . .

I don't know man. That is a LOT of games. It is a staggering number and I would love to see the rest of the SEC's stats on the subject.

You lost in 2006 and 2007 after having scored 30 points in a game.

Not sure how many 30 point games you've had since that 2007 loss.

ETA: 44 times not counting this season.

Looks like bama has 54. And that is with this long run of wins they are having.

Under Nick Saban at Alabama the Tide has lost only one game where they scored over 27 points and that was in his first year in 2007 when Bama lost to LSU 34-41. Since that loss, on games where the Tide has scored more than 27 points, they have a 56 game win streak.

If Bama scores over 27 and Auburn scores somewhere over 30 than one of these long streaks will be over.

I think 35 points or more would do it. Auburn has plenty of options to get to those numbers.

Maybe 2 or 3 deep balls to Coates. Some awesome run plays by Tre Mason or Corey Grant getting outside and turning on the burners. Maybe Nick Marshall on a draw for a TD.

I expect the good Dr. Gustav will concoct some trickery after the 2nd or 3rd Auburn touchdown to get to 30 or more.

Auburn's O has to get ahead and stay ahead.

Auburn's D has to be virtually mistake proof. Will need a turnover to get the AU offense back on the field.
As you said, we could get one TD on special teams.

Auburn: 38
Bama: 31

Clearly a rematch is in order, as I had a push.
