Bama fans are over-bearing and self centered as a rule... any time their team is decent or better I think they litter the internet with gumpulation

How can you say that if you have never spent time with the guy. You don't like him because of what you read on the intraweb??

I know for a fact he's an egotistical arse. If you worked in the LSU athletic dept. you did not talk to him unless spoken too. He belittled student workers in front of people for stopping him to say hello or good game because it "interrupts his schedule". Like i said, hell of a coach...but i think he's a shitty person.

What does that have to do with anything? This is an LSU site. Maybe if we were on tidefans.com i could see where you're coming from.

I would be here, see my awesomely high post count .

I've lurked over here a lot and I do have to say that, of our choices, this is the best message board. I like the fact that it brings together so many different fans. While there is homerism from every fan base on here, at least you get called out for it and it doesn't run as wild as some sites.

I don't read very many posts started by Bama fans unless it has links to good information. I generally like to see analysis (not flames) by other fan bases because it's a little more unbiased, although not totally.

I have never seen another sports message board with real time interaction like this. On other boards you just post and then check back later to see if there are any new replies. That is why it is so addictive.

This is true. Tigerdroppings has to be the busiest sports message board on the net.

The Bama fans are the most knowledgable, the most objective and have the best sense of humor of all the other SEC schools besides LSU. Although, I admit to getting tired of the Saban-Miles comparison. But trash talk comes with the territory.

You and me both. We are happy with our coach and the same for you guys. I know smalk talk happens, but it just looks dumb comparing the two and saying mine is better than yours, IMO.

Miles is a very good coach. The perception of him bumbling comes from his public speaking. But if you watch him communicate with his players and coaches during a game, you see a completely different person. I don't know if the difference is due to him being in his element during a game and not being comfortable in a public speaking setting or whether he talks in circles in public to purposely portray a huckster image. Seems to me he is crazy like a fox.
