Lots of room for improvement but cant ignore how bad they looked in 2008 and 2009 in a few meaningless games. The way they perform in big games in a complete unknown at this point.

I would say Auburn, Ole Miss, A&M and perhaps LSU.

Why?

Death Valley at night that will be a record setter in terms of attendance/noise as well as y'all not being nearly as experienced as the 2012 swing pass team that escaped. Will be a great game though. 24-21 Tigers.

Who can Alabama not beat on their schedule? I'm not predicting a loss until they give me a reason to doubt.

Here's my problem with your logic. You think he was ok with losing 3 in a row to Bama? If a coach could just make up his mind that he wasn't going to lose a game and make it happen, we would have a lot of OT games that last forever.

How much "logic" typically goes into these predictions. I just think he'll be especially focused this year and Bama is as vulnerable as they've been since 2010.

Just 1. I don't think Texas A&M has the horses and I think it's pretty obvious our coaching stuff has built the team with the focus of beating LSU so I think we win that one. That said the one loss is Auburn in BDS.

Who knows - the West is loaded. We have problems with the following types of teams

- spread teams that have a super accurate QB who can spread us out and pinpoint throws (A&M could be in this category, we will have to wait and see Hill a few more times) WORST MATCHUP
- teams that can match us at the line of scrimmage and then make plays on the perimeter (Auburn) 2ND WORSE
- teams that can match us talent wise at all skill positions (LSU) TOSS UP TYPE

I think A&M and Auburn create the most problems and the fact that LSU is in Baton Rouge makes it a toss up type game.

I am not saying we won't lose to Ole Miss, but it is really really really hard to beat us with a bunch of little scat backs, a so-so line and a streaky QB. Bo Wallace will have to have a Stephen Garcia 2010 type day to beat us.

I will say the great unknown here is

(a) how well our QBs play and
(b) how good our O-line is

Lost in all the Kiffin/QB talk is the fact that we have 4 elite running backs and an elite WR core. Not to mention that we've put together the best 3 game offensive numbers in the history of the Saban era (yes 2 bad teams but wev played 2 bad teams in a row before) and I think people underestimate how good our offense can be if the QB position is just solid.

The Gators scratch one out at home in 3 OT's against their annual doormat of an opponent and now their fans think they are going to go into Tuscaloosa and knock off Bama.

The idea that we will lose to Tennessee is the funniest. I think they'll be good in a few years, but they are basically the opposite type of team that beats us. Mediocre QB, horrible OL, no running game.

I know people for some reason think we're mediocre this season, but unless you think we have just fallen off a cliff folks will realize we only lose games to Top 15-25 teams. That's it. Since 2008 we've lost to:

#1, #2, #22, #8, #1, #2, #5, #2, #6

We don't lose games to 7-5/8-4 teams.

A&M will be a shootout ....for some reason the greatest coach of the last ten years cant seem to make the changes necessary to stop the spread. If theres a loss this will be it until post season .
