Actually we don't.
The "losing to Vanderbilt on the reg" thing didn't start until the Orgeron years. Then it straight up didn't stop through O and Nutt and now into Freeze.
Under Cut and Tubbs, we almost never lost to Vandy. We lead the all-time series by ten wins, and that's with Vandy getting off to an 18-0 lead in the series (I'm not making that up) from 1894 to 1938. We pretty much dominated the 'Dores from the end of WWII until Ed fricking O.

I'm just going off of the top of my head. Point is that you're going to have to replace some very valuable players off of a 5-win team. Yeah, I know, Johnelle and all that, but still it's tough to argue that Arkansas will be more talented than OM next year.
