Leak does not deserve to be in the conversation with Wuerffel, Grossman, and Tebow

Define Elite?

If you mean All Americans, USC has
Jeff Grantz and Steve Tanneyhill.

If you mean had tons of potential and played or could play Pro:
The guys above and...Anthony Wright, Stephen Garcia (stupid alcoholism), Phil Petty and Connor Shaw.

Also, I firmly believe that if Syvelle Newton had stayed at QB the whole time, he could've been elite, the problem was he was our best WR option at the time as well and QB Mitchell was decent, but not elite.

Peyton and Shuler are probably the only ELITE college guys.

How many elite college QBs has your school produced?
1. Jamarcus Russell
2. Y.A. Tittle
3. Matt Flynn
4. Craig Nall
5. Zach Mettenberger
6. Rohan Davey

Rohan doesn't belong on this list if you take out his production in one game against Bama, early 2000's-ish. That was just about an entire season's worth in that one game.

Why? Are we talking only college or career overall? If overall then Starr does deserve to be on the list

Elite? He was average as grits for 3 years then blossomed into a great QB his senior year. But would you really say he was an elite college QB?

Shockley made the list in the OP based on one season as the starter... same goes for Campbell... one great season.
