I do think after LSU learns its hard lesson with Orgeron they will do the right thing by their great fans (no sarcasm) break out the check book and go get the best coach money can buy. It will be 3 years or so late in coming but at least it will eventually happen. Definitely no reason LSU can't return to conference and national prominence once they make the right hire.

3-4 losses next year will be a good year for LSU. Facing 5 conference road games with a team being "rebuilt" from a powerhouse 4-loss season. despite being as optimistic as I can be, it is not going to be pretty next year... Hard to play 3-4 defense with no linebackers or DTs. Hard to play offense with no OL.

I have to agree with the OP and here's my prediction:

Next year, L6U is going to be better than Alabama. L6U is going to go into Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama. They’re going to beat Clemson. They’re going to win back-to-back national titles.

Seriously though, OP, have you ever considered winning one first before getting so hyped? This is why a LOT (but not all) of L6U fans are so butt-hurt mid-November. Your butt-hurt will always be directly proportionate to the jackassery you exhibit before any games are even played.
