ga tech game of 06 was his first game calling plays.
He has been fairly inconsistent from 07-10ish, showing great calls and some poor ones. For the last 3 or 4 years he has been very, very good. Only a tard would want him fired.

Sure. I just remember the 3rd and Bobs from his time of running draws for 6 yards when it was 3rd an 14.

The 1st and Goal call was not a bad call at all. It just didn't work. That play works probably 90 out of 100 times in that situation.

I don't hate the call. I hate the way Mason made a boneheaded play on it that cost us even more.

True but it was not the right call.
You have to go to your best chance to get 4 yards and a win on the road.
Gus used to get too cute and over think plays...that is what I think Bobo did.

Exactly. The QB just made a very poor play on it. If that happens to be covered you either
A: tuck and run
B: throw it out of the back of the Endzone
I'm sure he would have pounded Gurley 3 times after that had they not had the negative play.

That's a very good way to put it; it wasn't a bad call, just not the right one at that time.
Anybody who actually thinks he should be fired for that deserves to have their football watching privileges taken away

But don't worry, just recruit him the best defense in the country, stocked with athletes that are head and shoulders more talented than any offense they'll face all year. And just in case ya'll do face an offense that's as good as his players on D, just recruit a Heisman QB to bail you out and UGA will be just fine
