Did he fully recover from his injury?

I was wondering the same thing.

Yes, he did. He played in the spring game, though in a non-contact jersey.

The injury looked a lot worse than it actually was. I thought his career was done when it happened.

Drake has home run speed if anyone does.

Home run power? Base stealer speed?

The baseball analogies have always fell short when applied to football. No one in baseball has home run speed, but in football some people say that. Sorry for the Jerry Seinfeld-like tangent. Hopefully Drake will get back where he was.

Drake is in beast mode, he has a serious chip. Should be interesting.
Kenyan had a rough start at Bama....took him while to buy into the "process"...when he finally matured and settled in, he had Kiffin to help him sharpen his skills. He was chompping at the bit before the injury. I saw how he reacted to his limited action in the A-Day game. He will be beast mode the entire season IMO.

I think if he has a full recovery, he'll end up being our to back next season. I'm still not sold on a Henry as our #1 back. I love his work ethic and attitude, but don't like his size at that position. Hopefully, he'll at least figure out how to run lower.

Now, running a straight 40 is different than all the cutting and slashing done in a game situation.

That's my only worry, but the reports have been much better than I ever expected. It's his last year so we'll see.

Drake is going to be the difference maker in this year's OM vs Bama game. If he is what he was he's the type of back we have a hard time stopping. We were pretty salty against the Henry

If he recovers 100%, and doesn't go down with another injury, he's going to be a force. I thought he'd be one of our best players last year, and he was, until that nasty broken leg. The injury looked fine in the spring game. If he returns kicks, he'll be the best we've had at that position since... I can remember.
