Because he wasn't consistent. Heck, he was our 2nd best tackle last season.

Plus I remember watching that other OT run the 40 at 4.9. His feet are unbelievable. You have to take a guy that big and athletic.

Because he is a 3rd round talent, although he will probably go late first or early 2nd due to a historically poor OL class.

Crazy that as an OT and more importantly playing for Alabama he scored exactly the same amount of points as LSU did last year.

He's talented but he's mentally and physically been all over the place the last 2 seasons.
Nobody is going to put their neck on the line for that in the first 20 picks. I wouldn't.
