Guy can play, has the pedigree, mobile. I know I sure wouldn't mind if N.O. picked him up to follow Brees in a couple years.

Top 10. Big arm. Want the Saints to draft him

He's a 5th year guy.

Kelly lovers are fooled.

He's like Connor Shaw.

He would be a steal in the third round. I could honestly see him going late in the first, and all through the second though. There are some teams with desperate QB needs.

Shaw had a pea shooter arm, Kelly can sling it. He may be a bit of a head case/gunslinger at times but the talent level is far above Connor Shaw.

and for the record, i liked Connor Shaw, always thought he was a gritty gamer.

Really? Top 10 for a backup? I don't know. I think top 10 is starting material.

I think he'll go early to mid 2nd round. I think he'll be the 4th qb taken so if there is a team like Arizona picking at the bottom of the 1st and the other 3 qbs are taken, maybe he could go late first.

Shaw had a good arm. If it ever was pea shooter it was because he played so physical it was hurt.

They're really similar. Both great competitors.

Both will go down as real solid college qb's.

Kelly benefits from breaking through with his competitiveness. He won't be able to man strength his way through things in the NFL.

I don't keep up with NFL draft until closer to that time. What QBs are projected to go before Kelly?

The only hang up I would have with him would be his mental makeup. If he did well in the interviews I'd make him a first rounder if I needed a QB

I agree with this. He has the tools (toughness included), but the mental aspect is questionable.

It's not simply a small mental aspect. He's dumber than shite. I mean like spells-his-name-different-every-time dumb. He can get by in college. Never will see the field in NFL.

I honestly did not know this.

As far as where he'll get drafted.... I'm thinking high second to early 3rd. Not sure how he'd be as a starter though.

I didn't say "small". If he is stupid (and I have no idea), then we'll know on draft day because they'll run from him.
