It has been horrible this football season for me. Ive tried it on both pc and firestick.

It's shotty, but it works for me about 70-80% of the time.

I've never gotten the app to work for me.

Uninstalled everything ESPN.

App or WatchESPN?
Don't use the app. WatchESPN has been a total shaitshow. Game feeds not starting on time, constant buffering, etc.
CBS and Fox work fine so it isn't an ISP issue.

I prefer not to install spyware.

So you don't have a smart phone, tablet, or PC based web browser because they are all watching you.

Like hammered shite.

I've had zero issues so far.

Absolutely terrible. I've pretty much given up on trying to use it on game days because it's nothing but freezes and constant lag. Not to mention taking away the PIP killed one of my favorite things about it.

I've started using Hulu's live TV service. For whatever reason the ESPN and SEC network streams have been much more reliable.

Man same. Its been terrible for me, when I have sub-par service I get nothing but a white screen. This football season has been notably worse.

Is it your internet speed causing problems? I have thebwatch ESPan app on Apple TV (4th generation) with 60 mbps from Comcast and watching games have been great and clear.

Poorly. Worked fine last year and during baseball season but once football season started it's been freezing up on me all the time. Started streaming games through sling tv and works fine there. All my other apps on Apple TV stream fine. Only the WatchESPN sucks and it does on the computer as well. Phone doesn't work great either. Know it's not my internet

Same, when I am home the WatchESPN has been amazing (used the hell out of it for Baseball).
I am talking about the actual ESPN app. Like on gameday checking other games scores/stats, I can NEVER get it to load...

I've been running WatchESPN on much faster speeds and still having the buffering issue this year. Didn't have it last year and Fox and CBS have been fine this year.

I had the buffering towards the end of last year. it's been downright pitiful this season. it's definitely a problem on their end.
