Well he is the HS rushing king. He was already kind of hyped but struggled with the blocking scheme because he didn't have to do much of that in HS>

Hes very good and yes he's talented enough to win the award. Early 1st rounder most likely.

He's been hyped as a first round pick even since he signed, and after the way he played last year, is the favorite to be the first Safety taken in the draft after this upcoming season. The brakes need not be pumped.

Not really a reach at all. Even if he doesn't set the world on fire of the field this year someone will take him on measureables. The kid is a freak student atholeet.

Landon is a very good player however he takes some awful angles at times when trying to make tackles. I'd say Vinnie was a better tackler, he just wasnt the athlete Landon is.

Is he capable of being the SEC Defensive Player of the Year?

It could go either way. He isn't going to have a lot of experience back there to help with Dix gone and no proven CBs. So he will either have alot of tackles or be overwhelmed and get beat too much.

Not saying he isn't a great player, I'd love for him to be at LSU headhunting, but you can't call someone the best tackling DB in the SEC when his very last performance was the exact opposite of that.

Do you feel the same way about the Honey Badger?
