Floor of streaky and ceiling of legendary.

Return both starters at corner who should only improve. Cyrus Jones played great last year and will be one of the most experienced corners in the conference. Eddie Jackson will be in his third year and should be more confident in his knee.

Tony Brown and Marlon Hunphrey, 2 five stars in their second year

Kendall Sheffield and Minkah Fitzpatrick, 2 five star freshmen

At safety we're looking at Geno Smith and Hootie Jones most likely. Geno will be in his second year at safety after playing year one at corner, so the coverage skills are there. Hootie is an unknown at this point.

Have 2 freshmen early enrollees. 5 star Deionte Thompson and 4 star Ronnie Harrison, who has the most potential in the country at safety in this class outside of Derwin James imo. At worst the secondary will be the same level as last year, but I expect an upgrade in pass defense.

Ours is very good.....

Henre Tolliver & Jared Collins one of the better CB duos in the SEC. Arkansas is losing a solid safety in Alan Turner, but honestly his replacement (DeAndre Coley, Santos Ramirez, Josh Liddell) should be better.

They'll be better than last year purely from a depth perspective. They were anywhere from average to good last year depending on the game and almost everyone returns in addition to a really stout DB class.

Per usual, we lost a couple to the NFL and will be just as good if not better.

that's awesome.

Ours will be incredible as usual. We have talent and depth. Rickey Jefferson would start for most SEC teams but we struggle to put him on the feild. To think that our DBs were some of the best in college football last year, and we had zero pass rush is incredible. We return everybody but Jalen Collins and Ronald Martin who might have been our 2 worst contributing DBs last year. And unfortunately Rashard Robinson .

We return 3 of the best DBs in the league in White, Adams, and Mills. There are dedefinitely some questions though, mainly with a new DC. Can we get more pressure on the QB? Will Dwayne Thomas be back to normal after his injury last year? Will Ed Paris or Kevin Toliver be able to step up and carry the DBU tradition at the corner spot opposite White?

Our floor is pretty high, but if the answer is that DT is healthy, we get a pass rush, and Toliver/Paris are very good.... Holy shite I will feel bad for opposing QBs. Especially since all our LBs will have the speed to cover too

Call it like I see it. I am hopeful that our DL can help mask the issues in the secondary. I think we are going to have a good mix of talent/experience/depth on our DL this year. Hard to make a case when this is our 4th year starting CB:

We have DC Jeremy Pruitt as our secret weapon. He coaches the secondary, he came in & ran off 3 starters from the '13 team, Shaq Wiggins, Tray Matthews & Josh Harvey-Clemons. How did that work out you ask??

UGA's pass defense went from 59th nationally giving up 228yds/game, 18td's & only 7int. in '13 to 5th in the nation in '14 giving up 170yds/game, 13tds & 16 int.'s....

Water covers 71 percent of the earth's surface. LSU's secondary covers the rest.

I think much like last Season Bama's DBs will be an unknown quantity.

Of course we can hope that the ones that played last Season will improve and hopefully new comers will contribute but who knows.
