Offensively very good, defensively they are offensive. 13th in total defense, ouch.

I think if they defeat Auburn this weekend, they are 12-0 in Atlanta. They just seem to have that "it" factor this season

OM is solid but still lack of a running game will hurt y'all

That's what Alabama posters said for a week.

I think State has a great chance of getting to 10 wins. I wouldn't be surprised at all. I do believe 2 of the top 3 teams in the SEC reside in MS, with Auburn being the other.

Were #1 in red zone defense before Saturday's game. We tend to give up a ton of yards after going up several scores.

They're pretty damn good. Or at least I've been impressed. I like their chances against everyone except Auburn.

I don't see them losing, except to Bama. They look really really good

Their scoring defense is very respectable. Their rushing D is ranked ahead of ours, but their passing D is 2nd to last in all of CFB.

I think the passing is where they will falter vs AU. The key will be AU not making big mistakes or giving up big plays. All said this looks to be a very good match up on paper and history suggests these teams will beat up on each other for four quarters. Can't wait to watch it.

With a little luck and some fortunate bounces they could be playing in ATL come December.

I will not be convinced unless we are able to hold Auburn under 35 points. My guess is Auburn 31-27.

Pretty sure Auburn won the SEC last season with a "questionable" defense.

If I were a Mississippi State fan I would be worried about losing a lead at the end of the game. I noticed that UAB, LSU, and Texas A&M scored late on MSU to make the scores look a little more respectable. MSU was out scored 40 - 14 in the fourth in those three games.

Yes and AU's defense is far better than any of those teams you listed. Their worry should keep them up at night because Saturday their dreams of greatness will be flushed faster than an Evan Stone jizz filled condom.

Strength
and
Conditioning

Auburn constantly rotates fresh bodies on defense.

A&M, UAB, and LSU all scored on us when the games were well in hand. When things matter teams have a hard time scoring on us.

Imo, at the moment, they're the best team in the nation

Mostly trash scores with exception of LSU game coupled by a very bad decision to put in 3rd string too early. A&M had no way to win so those didn't matter period.
