It'll come down to one thing, to me-- LSU's stubbornness.

Both teams will score, that much is a given-- what will decide the game is if LSU's coaching staff decides they still need to work on being multiple, and risk throwing away a couple of series on things like 3rd and 2 passes, or throwing on 1st and 2nd down.

If they avoid that, I like LSU by a TD. If they do that, I like OM by a FG.

Lsu is a good football team. Wtf is wrong with all these bama fans scared of what lsu is trending towards? Just wait your turn. You ain't gonna blow lsu out like yall have been doing to these other scrubs yall are playing...that's for damn sure.

They'd better stack the d line to stop the run and score a bunch on offense.

It honestly will come down to how Coach O decides to play his D. IF we can stuff the run and make OM one dimensional, it will be a long day for OM. If LSU lets up on the run D it will give OM way to many options.

Now that we've changed coaches the offense has played better, and so has the defense.

You also haven't played anybody since firing Les. We all like it when our team blows out a cupcake, but what does that prove?

I predicted a close OM win over lsu before arky beat them. Now I'm questioning whether they have the leadership it takes to finish strong and not mail it in. I don't think they do.

38-31 LSU

LSU is 44th in pass defense. Kelly will shred your secondary and you guys don't have enough fire power to win in a shoot out.

OM 42-2

I think this game will tell us if we are really a much improved team of if we should start buying tickets for the Liberty Bowl

First let me say....frick Ole Miss....Go to Hell Ole Miss Go to Hell.

With that out of the way, this is the first REAL test for the Aranda Defense at LSU. If they cannot stop Ole Miss sometimes, LSU will have a hard time coming up with a win.

The LSU Offense, while much better than earlier in the season, is still rather untested as it is in it's current state. The Ole Miss D may not have the depth to handle LSU if the Tigers can get the run game going.

FWIW I'm old and I love Ole Miss week. Go to Hell Rebels....

OM 42-24

So LSU is going to give up 6 TDs in one game?

LSU has given up 6 TDs this entire season...

I hate to break this to you but LSU is not very good this year and Ole Miss scored 43 on Bama. I like yaw yaw and you did well against Mizzou and S.Miss but now you are about to play some real football teams.

Well, Ole Miss only scored 30 on Arkansas...

So by your comparative reasoning, does that mean Arkansas has a better defense than Alabama... guess so.

ETA: LSU played #11 and #21... but those aren't "real" football teams like the 3 loss #23 team... gotcha

I think it will be a close game. Toss Up, could go either way, but don't underestimate Chad Kelly, he's still a very good QB. I predict a low scoring game.

LSU is going to win out. It's not even going to be a competition. West is so screwed now that Les is gone.

My thoughts as well. I noticed last night that Cap Pistol Kelly is a poontang. Each time the pocket got close to collapsing he threw the ball wildly to avoid being hit. LSU will run on Ole Piss.

Lsu is loaded and learning the CEO system

D gets better every game but Bama is already a great team

Ole Miss - not so great

Lsu beats Ole Miss and sets up the Beat Bama week

Lsu - 31
UM - 17
