I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, but I check out recruiting every day. I follow my schools football news non-stop. I never stop thinking about college football and count the days after it ends. I search endlessly for new news and re-watch last years games. I make highlight video's and search youtube for other's highlights as well.

I semi care for the NFL being a Dolphins fan can be rough. I wAtch college basketball, and follow the international soccer scene as well as the clubs. Other than that, it's college football.

You?

This is not at all a flame, but I admire you for being that committed enough to do all of that as an Ole Miss fan.

I used to be that way back around 2008 or so. Kinda started to let it have too much control over my life and cut back on how much I keep up with recruiting and how much time I spend watching old games and YouTube.

I still pay for BamaOnLine because of the content that gets published and information that gets posted by people - but I've settled down a bunch.

Sounds like a real shitty life as an Ole Miss fan. Considering the fact that Washington State, Texas Tech, and Colorado State have better all time records

ETA: very likely those schools don't in fact have better records, I just don't care to look. But they have the same shite overall pedigree as Ole Miss. Which is to say garbage.

I've been lucky these past 2 years.

Last year I was in the middle of house hunting, closing on our house, and moving into our house during the months of June, July, and August so it took my mind of football.

This year my wife is due with lil rebel #1 Aug 8th. So my summer has been filled with prepping a nursery and all that fun stuff. And after he is born it will keep me busy till (and after) the season starts.

I've told all my friends who just wait around for football season to make sure they plan events like this around the same time frame it helps pass the time haha

Well this year I have spent the off season knocking out portions of the CPA exam. So studying for that has helped pass time till the next season starts.

I got into soccer. It has helped immensely.

LFC has overtaken the Braves.

This college football offseason is passing by quicker than any I can remember for me.

when you enter the real world all that will change. Trust me the offseasons get a good bit shorter the older you get.

No kidding. Something is always going on in the soccer world, and the transfer windows blows recruiting out of the water.

Hell, a transfer broke down yesterday because a player was demanding a private beach and a helicopter.
