I agree. I imagine a year similar to what Vandy had this season. Lots of ups and downs with the team coming together mid conference season and finishing strong enough for a NIT birth.

It all depends on how the players we have develop. Losing Richardson is a huge as he was all we had this year but there have been signs of life/development in the young guys. We're still gonna have roster issues as well. Hopefully, we'll see incremental improvement but we're in nearly the same situation next year as we were this year, possibly worse if one or more of our guys doesn't step up and fill Richardson's shoes which is a tall order.

If Bobby Portis and Qualls come back (like most expect), paired with the two ESPN top 100 players (Whitt and Kapita)...... Arkansas will be a top 10 team in the country.

I guess they'll be good since they made the tournament this year and haven't done that in awhile. I think our basketball recruiting is supposed to be good this year too.
I don't know I don't really pay attention to basketball.. Last night was the first and only basketball game I watched all season.

If Portis / Qualls return... legit final four calibur team
If Qualls OR portis return.. about the same as this year
If neither qualls and portis returns.. we should make the Tourny but barley
we will be a better defensive team regardless next year

I've got a very good source who is connected here in Texas who insists that TAMU BKB is about to get popped by the NCAA for recruiting violations.
He has family connections to TAMU so he isn't gloating; he is pissed
Don't know if it's true. Any of you Ags heard anything similar ?
