I feel great about the QB situation In fact, the only reason we have a QB is because someone needs to take the ball from the center and hand it to our RBs.

I've seen his arm and it's legit. That's all I know though.

Didn't know this, although as an outfielder you'd expect him to have a decent arm. Seems like some good athleticism, too.
I know he can't stay long, but is he kinda the same mold as Mauck physically? If so, as a 3rd team guy it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Gotta think Jennings considers a transfer if Harris wins the job. We almost lost Bennett after camp and we were razor thin. Precarious times for LSU.

Sure can, doesn't change the fact that he was pretty poor by the only measurable metric available for QB accuracy.

Hasn't he already been passed up by a left-fielder?

I think it's a valid point that if LSU loses one QB then the play caller will have to be very careful with designed QB runs (and improvs).

That left fielder has shocked the shite out of our coaching staff. I have heard that his arm strength is ungodly

I like Harris, a lot. I was telling LSU fans he'd be the starter this year back when they could barely get off Jennings dick long enough to come up for air. Surprise surprise, after the Spring game half the fanbase turned on him and was touting Harris.

That doesn't change the fact that, right now, he is a much better runner than pocket passer. The same was true of Manziel out of HS, and Manziel would have struggled a lot as a true freshman (he did struggle passing as a RS freshman for the first three games or so).

The part where you made excuses about how much his offensive line sucked and the general lack of offensive ingenuity in Louisiana HS football?

I read it, I just dismissed it.

Yeah, a viable reason as to why his high school completion percentage was low. Yet you dimissed it because it doesn't fit into the narrative you chose.

The hubris of a few vocally ignorant A&M fans on this board is beginning to make me dislike my second favorite team.

They'll be fine. They're not playing those dirty player-injurin' sons-of-bitches at Tennessee this season.

49% is poor, O-line or no O-line. That isn't going to magically correct itself in a matter of months, that's gonna take a couple years of good coaching.

Klarvin, stick to politics. Sports is obviously not your thing.
