It's overall record since 2000. No one is saying Bama's run was/isn't amazing so calm down.

Your fanbase is already melting and he hasn't even left "yet".

It's glorious.

The fact that it's true. LSU has a seasons worth of wins more than any team in the conference since 2000

Take advantage of these last few weeks Bama fans...soon you will hate that man with the LSU fans.

I'm calling it now. January 10th, he will be gone.

If you think this would change anything substantially on this board then you don't understand Rant mechanics.

He leaves;
Bama fans mad
Bama not the best job.
Bama in decline
Bama settles for X coach. No one else will take.
Problems A,B and C which will give Bama big problems down the road are the reason Saban left.
Recruiting for Bama is suffering.

He stays:
Bama fan mad.
Bama not the best job.
When Saban leaves at some point In future, Bama will decline.
Bama had to bribe Saban to stay. Bama not the best job.
When Saban leaves, Bama will have to settle for X coach.
Saban almost leaving has to do with problems A, B, and C which will cause long term problems at Bama.
Since Saban almost left, recruiting will suffer.

He's not gonna be in the same division in the same conference though. Not quite as bad. He WILL however come back to your state to recruit top level talent. I cannot wait to see those wackos react.

Jesus Christ. This is why we can't have nice things. No one said anything discounting Bama's titles. Only that LSU is the winningest program since 2000. Both are true so dwi.

I'll be disappointed, but that's just because I like coaching drama and this would be a huge one.

I want him to stay. We have won 2 SEC championships and 1 NC so far during his time there.

He makes us play better.

Don't discount this effect. It's the precise reason Mack is done. When your instate rival is getting all the glory, you up the stakes.

Still haven't gotten the hang of that whole "quote" button thing, huh?

I understand. It is a process. Got a second?

I think having Saban in the SEC is good for the league as a whole. What he has done at Alabama has forced other schools to step up their games to compete. I don't like the guy, but in the grand scheme, I would rather he be in the SEC than another conference.

he'll stay and next year when he beats the predictable 4 loss Auburn team it will be because "they weren't good this year"

[quote]I'll be kinda like having your parole denied, huh? I used that analogy because I figured y'all could associate with it. [/quote

Both Auburn and LSU have beaten Bama teams coached by Saban on multiple occasions so, not so much.
