You mean like LSU fans who post a million Saban threads whenever a rumor comes up that he's leaving?
You're forcing out one of the better coaches in the SEC in a pretty unflattering manner. Of course it effects the rest of the SEC. Did you think people were just going to ignore it?

If it looked like LSU were about to fire a terrible coach, there would probably be only a couple threads about it. Instead, it seems possible that LSU might fire the 2nd (by a significant margin over the 3rd) most successful coach in the SEC. This interests people. I mean, the odds of his replacement having more success are actually pretty low. Not because LSU can't get a home run hire, but because there are so many factors involved in success, especially in a league like the SEC, and sometimes you just have to admit one of them is luck.
