No doubt bro. We were all whistling through the graveyard, hoping we could keep dominating the LOS and not have to worry about the pass. Three crushing losses in a row proved how weak up front we really are. We have a slight edge against ATM because we are better talent wise right now, we are playing at home, and LF7 is still an incredible player. Aggie is closing the gap already. Think this might be our last victory in the current series. Can easily see you winning next year at KF.

I became curious about Les Miles' abilities when he ran to the wrong sideline in the beginning of a big game..,

But he seems like a great person, very likeable

I think Wimp Sanderson was right about the situation. It's not Les himself, but the Nick Saban effect, if he wasn't doing the things he is at Bama, there would be no problems.

What "we" LSU fans see -- not "us."

This is the kind of stuff I like to read. I totally understand your two examples but just because that happened to Alabama and Tennessee doesnt mean it will automatically happen to LSU

You ask for facts. People give you facts. Then you argue with them when you don't agree with the facts.

Because Alabama fans have been through this before. After Alabama lost to Mississippi State in 1996, our AD (Bob Bockrath ) pushed Stallings into resigning from the job and retiring from football. Despite averaging 10 wins a season, there were many in our fan base who were happy to see him leave. Like Miles, his offenses showed little innovation and lacked creativity.

Part of that was the probation you guys got slapped with the year before because Gene Stallings was cheating his arse off.

I still cannot help but think of LSU as that dumpster fire program throughout the 80s and 90s.

LSU was actually pretty good in the 1980s. We won two SEC titles. Hell we were consistently better than Bama. The only program we had trouble with back then was Auburn.

The 90s were a different story.

How do players talking to agents equate to Gene Stallings "cheating his arse off"?

If any of you know football you would know the game of football has passed up Les Miles. Yes Les Miles has been great to LSU but since 2011 he can't get over the bama game. The reason why I bring this up is because no I'm not obsessed with bama it's the fact that we have fallen apart after playing y'all. I am not denying that the man has brought great success to the LSU football program but the man recruits dual threat QB's for them to just run the I-formation all game. That just doesn't make any sense too me. It would make a lot more sense if he didn't recruit dual threat QB's. The only reason I would want to keep Les is because he is a great man and a great face for LSU football but like I said the game of football has passed his philosophy up. Just wanted some of yall's opinions on this. Please no BS.

You're in one of the most competitive football divisions ever. Look at the current SEC West standings, every team but Auburn has a .500 or better record. Has there ever been a time when both Mississippi Schools were good? Throw in Texas A&M with their recruiting capabilities, Alabama, LSU, and an Arkansas team who keeps getting better, you have serious competition in that division.

This all comes down to LSU's inability to beat Saban. Miles is getting fired because he's lost too many to Saban. End of story.

P.S. LSU is making a mistake, fire the guy with the #1 recruiting class next season, genius.

Miles should have been fired after the NC loss to Alabama. He has never figured out what happened and continues to recruit, prepare and play the very same way every game every year. He missed the wake up call and is still asleep.

We said it a long time ago and you've put up with this long what's another five years going to hurt? Wrong time and especially the wrong way to handle it.

What followed was the collapse of one of the best programs in the country. Mike DuBose brought a more wide open offense that resembled the Fun 'N Gun at Florida but he couldn't win games. He averaged 6 wins a year in his four seasons - this after Alabama had averaged 10 wins in the previous seven. Then you had the whole Albert Means scandal, as well as the fiascoes involving Franchione and Price. We spent a decade in the wilderness as a result of forcing Stallings to tender his resignation.

You are throwing away a coach who has won 78% of his games over 11 seasons because of a "slump" that only really got started last year. You are at risk of becoming a lot like Alabama post-Stallings or even Tennessee post-Fulmer.

If they get Fisher, likely no harm no foul I suppose. Just seems to be a big risk when you have a coach loved be the players and some of the fans, that loves the school, can recruit his ads off against Saban and despite the new narrative, is the only team that makes us worry year in and year out.

First off,LSU doesn't GAF what you have to say on the subject.Secondly,How the frick are you to decide how LSU handles it.Yall mfers need to concer yourselves with your own teams business, isn't Bama a virtual lock for the playoff? You would never know it.
