They came out ready to run through a wall for Coach O! He still won't get the job but, it was nice seeing the offense come alive.

I haven't seen much of your games this year, but you didn't need any offensive ingenuity to beat us.

They were clearly energized. And they're a very talented group of players. It will be interesting to see what the shakeup does for the rest of the season.

You saw all those passes over the middle of the field, right? We don't usually run those.

I guess if a pass over the middle counts for offensive ingenuity, then ok.

It is for us. Been years since we have seen it. Does not everybody rely on the toss dive?

It was a completely different offense last night even if the playbook was the same.

LSU still has pass blocking issues. Amazing what the running game can do with a little space.

A little space?

I'd say your issues is your QB. He's not good. You obviously didn't need him to beat us up, but you'll have games where you don't get a first down every time you hand it off.

I mean he missed some deep throws but we had a nice short and medium passing game going. Yea when you spread it out you create "space." Sort of like your "safe space" but this results in winning.

He missed every deep throw. He did not complete a pass for over 15 yards in the air other than the one tipped by our DB.

Yeah. We're not good.

I think a lot of LSU fans (based on my conversations) think they really turned over a new offensive leaf. I don't think most of them realize that was still a Les Mile's offense.
