How big of a game is Mizzou for LSU in terms of BK’s standing with the fanbase?

I understand he won’t be fired due to the contract, but where does the fanbase draw the line this season?

Losing on the road to a T25 team? normally not a massive hit... Im sure the defense they have is why fans would be far more upset.

Hugenormous doesn’t adequately describe it. If they somehow lose…. He could lose the locker room. That would be devastating.

LSU should win by 10-12 IMO.

Let's be real man... it's Mizzou. They are not on the same level whatsoever.

If he loses that game, he's forever done. Not fired, but that would mean they drop completely from the top 25, and any optimistic claims of BEST THREE LOSS TEAM will fall on deaf ears.

At that point, people will tune out and just wait until he can be canned.

With that, recruiting will implode, further hastening the end.

It would be glorious :)

But LSWho ain't losing to Mizzlose.

Congrats. It’s the biggest game of the year and all the media can talk about is how Mizzou has had this game circled all off-season. For LSU, it’s Mizzou

Thats sooooo weird, because kstate said the same thing!!!
And I'll let you in on a secret, kstate game meant way more than LSU. In fact, UK, UGA, and USC all are ahead of LSU. I hate LSU because of Wingo and steeps, other than that, its a school that is on the same level as state, Ole miss, bama and auburn to us.

To me, it depends on how LSU loses. If they're walloped, then the seat will start to warm, although that means nothing considering his massive buyout. If they lose a tight one and play well, I think the fans will chalk it up to playing a good team in a hostile road environment.

If LSU loses to Mizzou, I wouldn't expect to be able to post here for 24 hours or so ...

And if that stretches to a 2 game win streak I never want to hear our name in the same sentence as those bums

A yes! A win in 1978 and a Covid year W. Mizzou must be very good at football!! Y'all are on par with Vandy tbh. Truly a second thought in the SEC

If they lose, they're at 3-3 with Auburn, Bama, Florida, and TAMU still on the schedule. 7-5 or even 6-6 becomes a real possibility.

Bama is the only one of those four that they would lose.
