How big of a bust will Lanning be at Bama?

I am not a fan. He’s a very average coach. He was out coached by Kalen Debor twice this season. It’s a very risky hire but it doesn’t matter because Brian Kelly is taking over the SEC regardless

He will be pretty good, which, by year 3 won’t be good enough. Then the big money boosters will start to meddle in and run the program like they did pre-Moore/Saban.

He’s going to kill recruiting in the south. I’d prefer they hired Debor.

We have no idea what type of coach he will be. But he won’t be Saban. We know that for sure

Define bust. I don’t know if saban would be able to live up to the standards of his previous success in the current era. The brand is probably good enough that all he has to do is not mess it up in game, and hire decent recruiters and he’ll have moderate success.

He won’t be Saban. But like Saban, he will still keep Kelly from winning a big 6 bowl game.

I’d prefer you learn to spell, but we don’t get what we want in life, do we?

Fired within 3 years. Guarantee it.

They have zero patience. It’s going to be incredible

No he won’t. Oregon had top 10 classes before he got there.

Lanning would be a guy if he’s successful his OCs will be hired away. That’s another reason I’d look at a coach with an offense background first.

LSU fired their national championship winning coach just 22 months after he had won only their third national championship in the last 65 years.

West Coast guy, probably doesn't recruit quite as well. He'll be solid but probably gets fired after the boosters freak out.

And I’ll enjoy it more this time around, bet that.

He'll be fine if he hires a good staff and develops or goes out and buys a to notch QB. There's plenty of talent on hand to still win a lot of games at Alabama.
