Don't make me bring up the numbers as I have done it many times. You got away with a miracle in 2012(words out of your own coaches mouth) and we came out firing in the first half of last years game just have Copeland fumble as he started to celebrate the TD Still fought hard to come back into it....but, a pissed off Bama team that had been tossed around by this LSU team lately would have no more of it. If you want to stick to scores that is fine...but, the truth of the matter is you got outplayed 3/4 last half's we have played. DWI

LSU has a major league rebuild job on offense and there is no sugar coating it. Most of their production from last year no longer resides on campus just like A&M.

Bama on the other hand faces no such rebuild. Yes we have to have a new QB but all the pieces around him are intact.

Okay, so we have 2 senior RB's (plus the top RB in the country coming in), 4 TE's with loads of experience. An All American caliber LT returning, along with a very experienced Line. We have a QB that has atleast been on campus for a year and half with Cameron coaching him up (Bama's is yet to step foot on campus). WR's are shaky I give you that...but look for Malachi/Quinn to really help there. I don't know if I call that a "Major" league rebuilding job, but maybe that is just me

You lose your QB and LT. Bama fans are in for a rude awakening when they have a qb that throws some INTs. Thats not including the defensive leaders you have to replace.

Plus you have a Head coach who reeks of desperation at every corner. Im calling 8-4 or 9-3 and retirement.

Our run game isn't one of the best around for no reason...they block their asses off for our RB's. Cameron is a fan of using TE's for recievers but with OBJ/Landry blowing up he did not utilize the TE's in the passing game much last year. That is not the case this spring at all. With a lack of scholarship WR's available (many are injured) Cam has been utilizing the TE's as receiver threats much more. there is nothing better for a young QB then having some good TE's to throw too. We got guys that can block and catch...and look for Jacory Washington to get many looks as a receiving TE when he comes to town too.

Why are LSU fans speaking so highly of their team's OL? LSU couldn't run on Georgia or Alabama last season despite their successes in the passing game. Congrats!

You lose your QB and LT

Every team in the country loses key players every year. The difference is Alabama has great talent to step in when they're gone.

Not sure why the double standard. I guess because people are just tired of Alabama being the most talented team in the country year in and year out.

"Alabama will probably lose to lsu because they're having to replace their Qb and LT and some key defensive starters"

OK? Let's disregard that lsu loses their QB, RB, two 1K yard receivers, replaces multiple year starters on the dline, and a multiple year starter at safety. These losses don't matter, because bama has to replace their QB and LT.

This board is comical with blind delusion. There is a reason why Alabama has the best odds in the conference right now at winning the NC. It's because they're better than the rest of you. Vegas believes the dropoff from our losses will not be as large as the dropoff from your losses. Perhaps they follow recruiting, where bama has a better class than the rest of you every year

No one is saying Bama wont reload...they will. Will be hard to replace someone like McCarron though. But, LSU will reload as well. The only thing you should be happy about is us losing Mett/Landry/OBJ.... you should be upset with us losing the DL/Safety starters cause their replacements are already showing those guys up in spring practice. Always studs in the stable ready to be unleashed!

They always do. It's hard for many on this board to admit though that bama has a minimal talent drop off every year. It's the same shite every offseason. Bama is going to lose this many games because they have to replace so-snd-so and he'll be hard to replace.

So far Dee Milliner is about the only guy in the saban era we failed to find a serviceable replacement for and it showed last year. Other than that, the machine keeps ticking right along. Those that actually follow recruiting know that bama has the most talent in the country.

Ceiling of undefeated, floor of 2 losses for this group, barring major and widespread injuries

Well, with almost 20 juniors leaving LSU early the last two years...I find myself in this argument a bunch as well! But, both of our teams seem to find ways to win no matter what the challenges are in front us
