Common sense reason logics and facts should develop someones college football opinions, not homerism, blindness, biased fandom, etc.

You're on an anonymous football message board with droppings in the title. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Bama would win 27-21.

Good game though - stretches all the way into overtime.

Try me. I said "I'm NOT surprised . . ."

That's why I said something. Why would you even reference it knowing you called us out in the heading?

Given a month to get ready, Miles would stomp Sabans guts out. Miles has his team ready for bowl games to play lights out. Saban can, but is just as likely or possibly more likely to play lights dim.

So for a bowl game between us, I'd put my money on Miles every time.

I didn't know I "called you out," Deaux. I was offering a speculative post based on the way that the two teams played their bowl games. If LSU played the way they played against Georgia Tech and Alabama played the way they played against Utah, what do you think the outcome would be? It seemed like it would be an interesting topic of conversation. Nevertheless, I am not surprised that you would jump up and down reminding us how you beat us. I know. I am very familiar with the game that occurred. I watched every agonizing second of it.

I was speculating on an internet message board about a game that has not occurred and never will. For fun. You can speculate with me (based on the way the two teams played their bowl games), or you can act like a Gump and play out your insecurities by reminding us that you DID in fact win the actual game. Again, I know. Thanks for the reminder, but that's not what the post is about.

Or, you could just not comment here. I suggest the third option.

Gumps brother. You wondered aloud, i.e. in text, that you didn't doubt it would bring out the Gumps.

Well no shite. You mentioned us in the title.

Last one with the ball... wins

I think this phrase is always used incorrectly.

In a close, back-and-forth game, the "last one with the ball" is usually trying to come from behind and the team with the ball will lose, not win.

No, you rehashed the game that we played earlier in the year and explained why you won. I'll tell you why you won: You were the better team.

I was asking about a comparison of the way that the two teams played their bowl games. Most people said that Georgia Tech would beat us by 3 TD's. Heck, I said that too. But, a different team showed up. I was just wondering what would have happened if that team would have played the Alabama team that showed up for the Sugar Bowl.

It is obvious that you don't have an answer for me except for "BOOMED ya," so, I'll leave it alone.

I still think that LSU wins by 2-3 TD's. Maybe more. Nothing here has caused me to think otherwise.

Looking forward to 2009!
