My god now I see why everybody hates the posers from Texas. Did you delusional idiots forget about the ole miss game? Y'all almost gave them their first win in the sec in like 2 years if it were not for a herp derp coaching mistake by ole miss. LA Tech has a way better team

La Tech will get curb stomped. 2nd worst defense in the country. We'll stop them enough.

...vegas has made texas a&m a meer 6 1/2 point favorite. la tech has a decent team, and the vegas line is realistic. but johnnie football will again be the difference.

...for a&m to come back from 2 scores down in the 4th quarter on the road in the SEC against a decent, well coached team in Ole Miss, spells "110% a&m grit".

that is an easy assessment.

Let's see...A&M has beaten them 10 out of 10 games played...hmmm.

Hard one to call.

Not.

La. Tech's center runs their offense
Sort of... generally how that works is one running play and one passing play are called in the huddle (plus one standard checkdown pass such as an 89 In to the TE... he (the center) makes the front 7 read, then makes the OL call which tells the QB if the offense is in "run" or "pass". After that the QB makes the safety reads to determine route progression plus any motion calls to check the defensive backfield, and the automatic checkdown if that secondary pass play route is uncovered.

This allows the offense to move faster because the QB has less to do. I've seen a lot of reporters say that in this system "the center runs the offense" but really the center only shares some responsibility.

Just looked up A&Ms defensive numbers... Lets put this in perspective aggies Illonois ranks way ahead of yall and LA Tech scored over 50 on them..

Wtf makes yall think any different?

They MIGHT be ranked ahead of us in total defense which is what I'm sure you looked at and formed unilateral assumptions like a dumbass, but our D is almost certainly better (I can't actually look up and post all the rankings right now) in scoring defense, 3rd down defense, redzone defense, sacks, and TFL. Also, the Big10 is beyond horrible this year.

If another Ag with time on their hands can look these numbers up and post them to shut this retard up, it would be greatly appreciated.

I believe he would prefer to move back to Lubbock anyway, so maybe we keep him for at 1 more year??

As bad as Tech (Texas, not Louisiana) is doing there may be an opening after this season. So you may end up losing him anyhow, either to them or Arkansas.

...you can throw any random meaningless unequivacable number you want at this particular game to appease this "retard" guy's obvious lack of and need for gridiron assessment skills.. fact is, it don't matter.

there is a 99.5% chance that inside the entire spectrum of modern algebraic equations, none of them would add up to la tech beating a&m. a lot because johnnie football is on the field, and in the end johnnie will

if anything, this game can get away from la tech in the later stages.

Wow... what a retard.

Just in case anybody actually thinks that total defense exists in a vacuum (or this is the first time they've ever watched football), notice that in the past two games Texas A&M has had TD scoring drives which included

Ark

1:37 (79 yards), 11 seconds (80 yards), 50 seconds (50 yards) 2 minutes (91 yards), 2:48 (89 yards)

(+3 in turnovers, lost TOP by 4 minutes, allowed 515 yards of total offense, won by 48 points)

Miss

47 seconds(75 yards), 2:11 (88 yards), 1:16 (39 yards)

(-4 in turnovers, lost TOP by 5:20, allowed 464 yards, won by 3)

It's a fact that when your offense regularly spends less than two or three minutes on scoring drives your defense spends more time on the field, plays more downs generally, and allows more yards generally.

All of which makes any comparison to Illinois regarding total defense ridiculous. Most offenses (probably not La Tech though) will come out in running sets and try to keep the clock running and a quick strike offense off the field.

Against Ole Miss, they ran a split set formation with a two halfbacks and a WINGback (not a flanker- this is an old I formation or Flexbone position). So they have three backs on the field, two of them blocking, and were trying to grind out 3.5 yards per play anytime they could with regard to down and distance.
