IF the team adapts quickly to new system, maybe 7.

It really comes down to how well they adapt. If they have an A&M type quick grasp of the system then 8 wins isn't out of the question. If they have a tough time then I see us around 4-5. Its not an overly complicated change from Petrino's system. If we were more experienced on offense then I would honestly expect 8 wins. With all the youth though I figure it will be more like the first seasons that Vandy and OM had under their new coaches recently. 6-6 and we get more and more competitive as the weeks go on.

Because he likes to run the ball. There is a certain portion of our fanbase that thinks any coach that likes to run the ball more than 55% of the time is Houston Nutt 2.0. You see the reference all the time on other Razorback boards.

Didn't you guys lose Wilson, Hamilton, Davis, and Johnson? I don't think Arkansas has the players yet, even if they manage to "adapt."

Record wise? Probably 5-7 maybe 6-6, about what is expected with a new coach and completely new system.

Unless that new coach is Kevin Sumlin

I covered that two sentences down.

We actually have a lot of "stars" on the offensive side of the ball. They are all just young. It really depends on how well they grow over the next 7 months. I think 6-6 is aa safe guess imo.

Don't forget about Gragg. A few defensive players too. They're probably one of the few SEC teams that lost more (talent not # of players) than LSU did

Gragg barely played last year. The only defense defensive players we lost that contributed last year were DD Jones and Ross Rasner.

We return 6 starters on offense and 9 on defense.

Gragg barely played last year anyways. DD jones is really the only good defensive player we lost. Our offense will have a much harder transition than our defense probably

It's sad when your own fans ask how BAD their team will be at football. Do you really belong in the SEC?
