LSU fans should be nervous due to not having a warm up game
MSU should be nervous because Miles has never lost a season opener (no warmup game) and we've played MUCH tougher teams than MSU

You really have become a little whiny girl. Is it a school holiday?

Old Sarge went to Blinn and texag7 has never witnessed his beloved queers beat LSU in football.
Neither of them have EVER seen A&M in a championship game in men's football, baseball, or basketball...much less win one.
You just have to laugh.

LSU will beat Auburn worse than LSU beats State.

- Watched State struggle against Southern Miss.
State 42. LSU 10.
I mean, maybe. Let's say LSU comes out and plays as shitty as Auburn did, which is totally possible, a lot of talented teams were mediocre at best last weekend.
MSU would obviously have a full on chance to win in such a circumstance.

This is one of the most unpredictable games scheduled in my opinion.
Last year it was pretty predictable that State would beat LSU, at least to most neutral observers. However, this year the component variables are so great that the arrows could line up any way you can imagine... from blowout (by either team) to close win (by either team).
Just on a hunch, I'll give State the nod at home... but fairly high scoring, neither defenses being a proven commodity. State 31 LSU 27.
More yak about variables.
In the SEC, the problems with "young," better described as "inexperienced," teams is more about consistency than talent. All SEC teams have "talent."
When a usually solid SEC team has four or five component question marks, what happens is that during the season sometimes all those ?s line up positive and a great game and win result. Sometimes a majority of them will go negative and an upset loss happens. The rest of the time some will be positive and some negative with mixed results in close games.
IN my view, State has less question marks then LSU at this point. This is partly because they have played a gam, but also because of the experience level across the full team spectrum for State. Thus I think State will play a more consistent game. However, LSU has more upside because they have four key question marks .... QB, OL, DL, LBs, and a lot of raw talent if everything clicks.
To win, LSU needs their ?s mostly answered positively. If one fails, they will be in a close game. It will be interesting.
