You act like yardage is all that determines if a receiver is good. Use your eyes brah, I'd say he is the best WR in the SEC. Been saying it since before he even took a snap. He will make Tony Brown look like a high school freshman.

Matt Elam has been pretty good in limited action. Still needs to work on his conditioning and leverage, but is going to be awesome in the middle for years to come.

Even more impressive, a Kentucky fan gets to participate in a thread about freshman 5 stars.

Fournette - easily LSUs best back and has looked great at times

Adams - needs to be the starting FS right now, has wreaked havoc when on the field

Dupre - has 3 TD catches, looks really athletic and really skinny

Garrett - minimal playing time, no impact

Duke is certainly in the argument with a few others for second best WR in the SEC.

I mean I said he was 2nd or 3rd best.... That's a very reasonable asessment of Duke right now.

let's see... Duke is 4th in the SEC in yards/game.

delving deeper into the stats... Auburn has thrown less than every other receiver ahead of him.

AU - 19 attempts/game
UA - 32.5
LSU - 23.8
UF - 39.7

Only Cooper has a higher percentage of receptions for total passing attempts.

Duke - 28%
Cooper - 33%
Robinson - 19%
Dural - 19%

Oh, and Duke leads the SEC in yards/reception for receivers with over 20 catches & second in the SEC for receivers with over 15 catches.

Rod Taylor looks good and may start pretty soon at right guard.

Kendarius Webster is rangy and has the potential to be a shutdown corner.

Marquis Haynes looks good on third down and will be situational his entire career, but in a good way.

Markell Pack is alright. He hasn't gotten much of a chance to shine so it's too early to tell either way.

CJ Hampton has blown a few assignments but gets better each week.

Everyone else has either redshirted or not played too much.

Who is better?

I think the only one in contention is Cooper. He is great too, but he has alot more targets and receptions. What can he do that Duke cannot? I'll concede that he has better hands, and might be slightly faster.

Myles Garrett -- monster, drawing double teams since game 1
Ricky Seals-Jones -- monster, contributes every snap he's on the field
Speedy -- same, tweaked knee and is day-to-day
Kyle Allen -- on the one hand, looks like a true freshman backup QB. On the other, would probably start for 9 SEC teams right now.

At this point, I think Cooper is faster, quicker/shiftier, more elusive after the catch, has better hands, and runs better routes. Duke is really good though. Seems powerful.

Myles Garrett - sack monster. He will he a Top 5 NFL Draft pick. No doubt in my mind.

Speedy Noil - he's awesome, injuries aside. I think he can impact games like Percy Harvin.

Did Ole Miss have five+ 5 star guys this year? Didn't remember them killing it in recruiting this past year.

Not much to pick between Duke, Amari, and Lequon.

You could make a case for all three being the best in the league.

De'Runnya and Marquez are very solid players too.

Treadwell has been a little quiet after the Boise State game. Less than 50 yards a game and no TDs in the other two games for Ole Miss.

What's the deal? Just not going to him much?

They've had their starters out by half time every game but the boise game.

Also, Bo Wallace is pretty terrible when he has to throw the ball more than 10 yards.
