As to Pearl and scheduling... he may have a harder time right now than 2015. A lot of the high RPI teams are scheduled early and I don't see an incentive for those teams to play Auburn this year. All they can do is harm their reputation and own RPI if they lose and Auburn's fan base doesn't sweeten the money pot enough for a lot of them. However, he should definitely have Auburn rolling in the scheduling dept. soon enough. I'd just be a bit surprised if it is 2014-15 instead of 2015-16.

You're right. I've heard that in order to get some better RPI opponents this late in the game, he may have to do some 2-for-1's with schools to induce them to play AU. I think next year will be better. When Barbee was fired, only the Clemson game was finalized for the pre-conference schedule.

I really liked Pearl for their OOC scheduling. I know Memphis, Gonzaga, Ohio St were some notable teams.

Donovan has done a good job with these as well.

I'm sure Mississippi States will be loaded with SWAC and Southland teams on it.

I really wish Memphis would suck it up. It's a shame their coach is afraid to play us.

He refuses to play State and Ole Miss as well
