Because they play for Bama and get a lot of undeserved exposure due to playing for Nick Saban. I could see Carter making the list because he's a big name kid, but the others making it is a bit odd. It won't matter anyways because of Saban's ball control offense.

God, I hope not! I'm officially on the Phillip Sims bandwagon. Re-watching the A-Day game, I think Sims throws better inside the hashes whereas McCarron is better on fades and out routes.

Can McCarron unify the team with that sweet soul-patch tattoo though?

Duron Carter (stud recruit but true freshman)

Actually Juco and not that it matters but 3 stars hardly qualify him as a stud. Preseason projections don't mean jack shite. Ask Florida and Texas last year.

Heavily reliant on run game this year and breaking in a new QB...How are these strokes on any kind of list?

Everyone keeps saying this, but the truth is nobody knows how reliant Bama will be on the run game until the season starts.

The offense will look a lot like the '09 offense did, reliant on the run.. Not to mention Saban will be breaking in a new quarterback and will have one of his best defenses ever. He won't tell the QB to go out and win the game, he'll let him manage it.

I love how you have convinced yourself you know what the offense will look like.

You're right, they'll be a pass happy offense like Texas Tech. Why wouldn't they rely on the run and defense? Let's hear your opinion of their 2011 offense, smart guy.

No Bama receiver will win the Biletnikoff this year, or any year while Saban is our coach. I don't think any rational person, Bama fan or otherwise, would deny this.

While this is probably true, Josh Reed did win the Biletnikoff at LSU under Saban. He also recruited Charles Rogers to Michigan State, who won the award under current Alabama assistant Bobby Williams.
