according to the settlement proposal all you guys had to do was apologize and donate $500,000 to start an ethics committee for college athletics... but you guys chose poorly and decided again that ethics is not in the university policies and procedures.

Sometimes it takes a minute for filings to be electronically lodged. Those online databases aren't always a real time accounting of what's been filed in the clerk's office. It can take a couple of days sometimes, at least in the counties I practice. And it wouldn't exactly shock me if Lafayette County, MS was one of the counties that drug their feet on getting things electronically scanned into their system.
