hotel near Tuscaloosa

I'm thinking about going to the lsu vs bama game but can't find a hotel in the area. Any suggestions on a city thats not too far with availability?

Booked a room in meridian last weekend. still seemed to have some good availability in town and only an hour and a half or so from t-town

I did that once at a park 20-30 minutes northwest of town. It was beautiful over there, and I think they even offered a shuttle. I'm sure some Bama fans know the name of the place off top of their heads.

That's actually not a terrible idea. Some state parks and even state lakes have campgrounds set up with bath facilities. If you're willing to "rough it" for an evening

Hoover might actually be your best bet at this point but that does suck considering you'll have to pass Tuscaloosa to get to Hoover
