If they were forced to resign, you might as well call them fired. So yes, Tubs was canned. I can't remember what exactly happened with Bowden or Dye, but the same applies to them.

Petrino seems to be the name going around right now. I guess that's the "guy that can't beat saban" though. I guess it's a downgrade from Chizik.

No. It was Coach of the Year, Gene Chizik, as well as a veteran team helped by Cam and Fairley.
