Missouri's offense is strong - so if UF doesn't have things somewhat better on offense, then it'll be a really close game in the swamp, because both teams will struggle to score.
It's like the Auburn game last year. UF's offense was so bad at that point, that they could only score 6 points on that train wreck defense.
However, if the offense is indeed better, then teams without strong defenses like Tennessee, A&M and Missouri won't be much of a problem for Florida.
Balanced teams, however, like USC, LSU, UGA, and FSU that can play on both sides will cause Florida plenty of problems. That's why 8-4 looks about right. UF would have to hold serve against lesser opponents and upset one of the 4 mentioned to get about 8 wins. If they have any shot at Atlanta, honestly, they probably have to beat both USC and UGA, so I doubt that happens, because unless one of these QB's blows up, UF is not a 10 win team in this league yet.

No offense to Mizzouri fans, but at least get through one season before you get cocky. You will see

Muschamp inherited a bit of a mess. Mizzou has no clue what they've gotten themselves into. UF talent is and always will be great. UF will surprise a few people this year and in 2013 will be right back where they've been for the past 20 years (competing for championships).

UF is gonna be nasty in 2013. This year will be a slightly better season than last year IMO, in that UF beats UGA and finishes 7-5 instead of 6-6

As bad as FL was last year, they still beat Tenn, were competitive against Georgia, and John Brantley was FSU's best player. I can see them losing to one of the three this year, and that will probably be FSU. Tenn still isn't where they want to be, and Georgia has been mental midgets against Florida since 90.

How the hell did this happen? To have back to back squashes so late in the season? Hope UF has a decent enough record by then otherwise the Swamp might be 2/5 empty.

You are right. It would have been embarrasing to have lost to UT last year even as bad as we were. Seriously.
Of couese we have no shot this year with UT having Montana, Swann, Irving and Rice.

You weren't much better last year. Just better enough.
I think Tennessee has the advantage in this game when looking at the two teams. But they still will struggle because it's Florida and Florida is in their head. Even when Tennessee is objectively better than Florida they find unique ways to lose.

You lost to Alabama by 28. We lost by 31. You lost to LSU by 30. We lost by 31. You beat Vanderbilt by 5. We beat Vanderbilt by 6. You lost to Georgia by 4. We lost to Georgia by 8.
Neither team was particularly good.

I guess I could get those for you. But I don't really feel like it.
You were a terrible offensive football team. We were a terrible offensive football team. You were probably better than us defensively, but we both really got housed by the good teams we played. You lost 6 games and we lost 7. I just don't know how significant the differences are.

I hear this every year but I can't believe it until I see it.
Though to be fair, I didn't think we had any REAL shot against Florida in 2008, 2009, or 2010. I really thought we did last year until we lost Hunter. I guess we'll see.
