Y'all are by far my favorite SEC fans. Every other fan base in the West blows harder than a broke Aggie when the rent is due.

One of the most successful engineering firms in the Louisiana Oil Field is owned by an Ole Miss Alumni. He's one of my neighbors. He's in his mid 70s and a pretty big Alumni donor. I spoke to him briefly about Hugh's situation and he's devastated. He expected to get hammered by the NCAA but thought Freeze was the best coach Ole Miss could get, sanctions or not, and he wanted Freeze to stay. Now he just wants to forget Hugh Freeze ever existed.

I play golf with an Ole Miss grad who's a genuinely good guy. I'm not planning to gloat too much. The rest of them though - let 'em cry.

If they had accepted the situation for what it was, like we all told them to and had any sort of humility about the entire thing, then maybe. We all saw this for what it was. Hugh was up to shady shite and everyone except them was able to see it.
As it is, they doubled down, defended the clown and the university that backed him up, and called us the idiots. Why do you think they have been absent since this dropped?

For the Ole Miss fans that are down to earth, I hate this for them. For the fans that consider themselves better than anyone because they relate their importance in life to being associated with Ole Miss, and hold everyone else in contempt, I admit I find it a bit rewarding.
