Credit to Saban, he's not hesitating. Miles is loyal to a fault and keeps guys too long. Bryant was known for adapting (an under appreciated virtue of his).

We'll see how it pans out.

Yes, Bama's declining back into another NC.

The 2013 season called and said it wants its imaginary championship back.

Does he ever share his little debbies with you?

No, he doesn't even let Ms. Terry have any and he only accepts them from his daughter on gamedays.

Well, I'm not buying this decline thing...but I'm starting to think there might be something to this Gus Bus deal

I tend to believe it's got more to do with the amount of talent on Bama's roster and the fact that it underperformed at times.

Moving Kirby Smart back to the secondary is a good move.

I like this post.

If you do the same thing over and over again, you'll get the same results. I think Saban is a smart enough coach, like Bear, in that he knows that change is something that should be utilized and not reacting to change is detrimental to success.

Isn't Saban "the best DB coach int he country"? Sucks to get canned for someone else' failure, but what was this guy doing anyway?

The 2014 Alabama defensive staff will have the same members as Saban's initial staff at Bama. The only difference is that Kirby is the DC and Kevin Steele will be the LBers coach.

Saban doesn't screw around. Once the process is in place, we're not allowed to lose.

3 losses and he fires the AD and the President. 4 losses and he locks the fans out of home games until further notice.

5 or more losses and we have to go to war with a neighboring country to placate him. This was the sticking point with Texas - too many alumni have ties to Mexico and were terrified of the 5 loss scenario.
