And 2004 lsu vs auburn when auburn missed the field goal at the end of the game but Ronnie Prude was flagged for jumping to block the kick and landed on top of an auburn player. Needless to say auburn kicked again and made it. After this thread I'm beginning to think auburn pays refs
It was an extra point and the correct call.
Eric Ramsey, twilleta Ramsey and Donald Watkins. There was money and planing provided. Eric was a puppet.

A lot of mad LSU fans in here, as usual.

I'll see your five and raise you 2 more.
This play led to hiring Bob Stoops at UF
Spurrier realized after this game he needed a real DC.
But I will have to say the "Swindle" in 2003 was the worst thing I have ever seen. 8 terrible calls went against us by an ACC officiating crew. College Game Day was at the stadium and they said during the show it was the worst they have ever seen. I don't like it but I can understand a call or two, but this changed what would have been a blowout into a close game.

WTF are you talking about?
It still cost you a NC no matter how you look at it

I know this still bothers the older Crowd for OM. Cost a NC for OM

Yes and that was the so called 2004 Auburn team that was supposed to be so great and it took a ref pulling a flag on a call I have NEVER seen before or since for Auburn to win that game. Honestly that is why you have to be up at least 3 scores on Auburn when you play them at Auburn in the fourth quarter to have a FAIR CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

The rule was put in prior to that season. Saban was on the committee that voted it in.

Is that the one about climbing a teammate's back to block an extra pt or fg?

To be fair, it was karma catching up to us from 66. This was ruled out-of-bounds and would've won the game for them:

1995 I think.
Perhaps watching this will help you get over it.
Can't believe this myth has persisted, anyone watching the game on ESPN could clearly see he came down out of bounds. Not even that close, really.

That's another thing. The second kick was wide left also, but the refs called it good.

Agree. It wasn't a catch. Kept telling my fellow gumps this yet many did not want to listen

I get that, but one call is a little bit different than rigging a whole game. I have never seen our fans turn on officials like they did that day.
