LSU would've been #1 but they took the ratings survey in the 3rd quarter.

Says the Bama fan who's coach publicly criticized people leaving early.

But still...I agree.

Lots of manly things to do. Racing, motocross, outdoor trails, swimming, and state parks. All kinds of Fishing and hunting. There are womenz to screw too, but you wouldn't know about that.

Is anybody surprised that Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama would lead the way in this regard? Add LSU and you would have the SEC's Big 4 in terms of the "local" Sixpack Joe being on board. LSU, UT, and Arkansas are the only state schools in their states that play in a BCS conference.....and in the case of Alabama, well, their redneck following is legendary....

Not just BCS conference schools...but overall FBS programs in a state can impact a fan base. Here are the number of FBS schools in each SEC state:

Alabama - 5
Arkansas - 2
Florida - 7
Georgia - 3
Kentucky - 3
Louisiana - 5
Mississippi - 3
Missouri - 1
South Carolina - 2
Tennessee - 4
Texas - 12
