I read catpause pretty regularly. I have great respect for kentucky and even in the tubby years I was hoping kentucky was great again.

Why is Pel hated so much more than Stan Heath? Both were pretty shitty coaches IMO.

Oh he was hated, but we have become more hateful people over the last 4 to 5 years.

When Pel is fired he will leave with class and grace and Hog Fans will wish him the best wherever he ends up. That is the total opposite of the way Nutt left as he went kicking and screaming and did all he could to damage the program before he left. That is why Nutt is despised by the majority of Hog Fans to this day. Most Hog Fans wish Nutt nothing but the worst and he will never be welcomed back to Arkansas.

Nutt is the only coach to be "hated" that the University has fired, there are several reasons for this that should be known and no need to be rehashed.
Sutton wasn't liked when he left. Nolan wasn't liked for the way he left. All is forgiven with these two.
Pel will go out like Heath, wish him all the success elsewhere as he was never going to get it done here...

I really like Pelphrey. I wanted him to have a lot of success as our coach. There are a lot of things that will be missed, especially his enthusiasm and animated facial expressions. I think he will improve over time as a coach and I think most Arkansas fans can understand why he is loved by Kentucky fans. He's the type of person who's difficult to not like.

It didn't and he was forgiven by the majority the moment he apologized for doing so.
Nolan was forgiven when he apologized.
Nutt will probably never be forgiven by most, he is not a good person.
Heath and Pel owe no apologies, they were not good enough for the job and are not blamed for accepting it when offered.
