Correction: he has two Elite Eights. He was also a national treasure. Pitched on our baseball team. Led the basketball team in scoring with 24 ppg in 1956. Played a year in the NBA. Coached Mizzou for 32 years. National coach of the year two times. 16 NCAA tourney appearances. 8 conference championships. 6 conference tournament championships.
