From my limited research, they're one of those teams that passes the ball around the perimeter for the entire shot clock and then somebody jacks up a 3

Sort of, but not really. We don't usually take threes unless we are down. Definitely a slow paced team who runs plays for our off-ball guard Cochran or inside to our "big guy" Skinner. We are small, and know that, so we try to use the clock to our advantage. It's tough to do against long, athletic teams like Arkansas though.

you should worried about every team, last time and the LAST time, I looked past a team mizzou lost to Norfolk st. and that mizzou team was miles ahead of this arky team .

Wofford should be a 14... Compare the other 12 seeds, they're clearly the worst of the four. They're in the low 100's in scoring and near the bottom the country in rebounding. Their starting 'center' is 6-7.
you realize that a high scoring small mid-major is LESS dangerous, right? Those teams WANT to run, and would not be able to keep up with you. You might get into the 90s vs one of those.

Wofford- low scoring, low rebounds, yet they win (28-6). That sounds like a whole lot of motion and passes on each possession, and a pretty high shooting %. 6'7 "center" suggests every player is a shooter; probably 4 true guards and a swingman/small forward.

If you can force an athletic game, you roll. But it sounds like they could make it very deliberate, and that could mean trouble.

can you name the offense that Wisconsin runs and explain why it's effective for their personnel and not others?

how is it sad?

I'm not a fan of troll threads these days, but sad is a weird word. There have been many LSU related threads from Arkansas posters the last week or 2. Just look at I ham that I ham's threads

Wisconsin runs the swing offense because it prioritizes getting the ball inside the post and it works because they have a massive lineup. Anything else?

sure, now that you're off of google

that's not the only reason it works either, to be fair

sure, this can be fun

umm what changes did Duke make from last year's offense to this year's offense in order to better utilize their soon-to-be overall #1 pick in the draft?

Or I've watched basketball for longer than the "LSU IS BACK!" season.

And I haven't watched a single Duke game all season. Don't really care to know the specifics of Duke's offense.

well then why did you generalize it and say "basketball" instead of "hog basketball" in your first post that I responded to?

any actual CBB fan could tell you specifics about Duke. They've been a top 3-5 team all year.

Very. NC State is normally the type of team we play up for, so I wouldn't expect a true crap-fest like vs Tenn, Auburn, Miss St etc. However, Mickey has been MIA the past few games, and without him we're toast IMO

nah, talking basketball is all. 5-12 always seem to be dangerous.

You know the committee likes to make "interesting" matchups- for LSU, the 8-9 matchup means the teams should match up well.
For Arky, at least perceived as an up-tempo 5 seed, you'd figure they would slate you against some deliberate, patient team with "good fundamentals".

If you played them 10 times, you run them out of the building at least 5 times. 4 times you win double digits by having more athletes. That last 1 is the risk- your guys get frustrated and sloppy, and they execute well enough to take you out.
