Hofstra has hit a dozen threes in this game and there are still 14 minutes to go.

And these are not uncontested threes off the line ... these are long range bombs.

Make it 13 threes ... they are just unconscious. Yet we have led the whole way.

Surely they cannot remain this hot all the way down the stretch.

Our two Lithuanians have accounted for half of our scoring in the paint.

Duane Notice is the worst when it comes to a fastbreak layup situation. I feel like he never makes any.

Make that 16 threes for Hofstra, they just tied their school record. Yet we are still hanging to our lead.

Just incredible. This has been a very entertaining game. I just hope we can hang on and take this one.

I really like our freshman, they are game.

Bernardi set the new school record for 3s from well beyond the NBA three.

Our freshmen just bowed-up and said, enough of this ... accounting for our last 7 pts plus Silva drew the intentional foul from Hofstra.

We have got to hit these FTs down the stretch.

I really really like our freshmen.

Dozier and Silva have looked great tonight.

Cobb had that nice move in the post earlier tonight too

What else I am really liking is how tenacious Frank has these guys playing. They are relentless with the D ... and as good on the offensive boards as we can ask for.

We might be pretty decent this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah, that was impressive.

We're just taking over now. Hofstra has lived by the 3 all night - looks like they are going to die by the 3.

Our guys have stepped-up their perimeter D big time these last few minutes.

Now we gotta hit our FTs ... but as good as Hofstra is from beyond the arch I'm not counting this one over 'till it's over.

If we can shoot more like tonight and less like last game then we've got a chance to be very good.

Shooting 53% vs 30% from the floor is a big difference

That's because we've scored in the paint tonight against a slightly smaller team.

We've hit some timely 3s though ... I think we're 5 for 9 or something like that.

But we're taking it to the hoop and going up strong against their big guys and we gotta like that. 24 second chance points vs 9 for Hofstra and 18 offensive rebound advantage.

We've only turned the ball over nine times as well.

That will win a lot of games. Hofstra looks like one of those teams you do not want to draw in the Big Dance if you are a high seed.

I'll take that win!

Championship game tomorrow night at 9PM on CBS Sports.

We led the entire way but man, that was an entertaining game.

Hofstra can score on anybody. They can shoot from all over the place and they are loaded with shooters.
