With all the annointing going on, I figgered some research was in order.

I went onto the official official NCAA stats page to see how Tua's pace for total offense compared to the GOAT, Johnny Fricking Football.

Just to remind, JFF holds #1 and #2 spots in total offense in a season for the SEC.

2012: 5,116
2013: 4,873

Now, even assuming Tua gets an extra game for the SECCG, AND one for CFP semi, that means he has 15 games to play, and would need to average 341 yards per game (as opposed to Johnny's 393 over 13 games).

Turns out, he is averaging 246 ypg. He is fricking 50th in the country.

He's like 6th in the SEC.

Jiminy Cripes. All this fapping over a kid that barely makes the first page of stats?

He plays like 1.5 quarters a game max right now.

Tua has literally played five quarters of football this year. If Saban had let him stay in the game to pad his statistics, his numbers would likely be double what they are now.

Well to be fair, if he played entire games hed be at almost 500 ypg. Dude hasnt made it to halftime yet this year. He's very good and has a shitload of talent around him.

But, yes, the slurping is getting ridiculous.

Look at his yards per attempt and TDs to pass number ratio and get back with me.

Just don't worry when he's kicking back smoking Cubans for the whole second half, which is what he does.

He is good, but I cannot tell if it is a product of him being that good, or really crappy competition. He did not look like a world beater against UGA last year. Based on what I have seen the first three weeks, LSU, Auburn, Georgia could have hung 50+ on all those teams. Ole Miss was just fricking pathetic.

yet, Tua is averaging 3+ yards per play more than Manziel did in either year. When he starts playing the majority of at least the second qtr, it may be more fair to compare stat total yds.

That said...

your troll effort has been strong...your effectiveness, not so much. Kudos for your grit, though.

Smoking cubans is why he can only play 1.5 quarters. Tua needs to get in shape and play a whole game.
