welter proved against auburn why he is on the field. the man was a tackling and sack machine, it just took a month to get the motor completely up to speed but now that its running at a high level gurley has no chance.

In my biased opinion I think Gurley is the better back. But I think Hill will get more yards tomorrow. Put Gurley on LSU's team against UGA's defense, easily Gurley has more yards.

Gurley is the better back, but that's not a slight to Hill. Since Gurley added all that muscle , he's been a beast. I was worried that Gurley may lose a step because of the added muscle mass, but he hasn't. The thing I love about both of these backs is that they are both big and bruising type rbs with the speed to take it to the house from anywhere. Hill isn't really fast, his acceleration is amazing though. After he has gotten to the second level of the defense, he is at full speed in 3-5 steps.

I think he meant "Comity": courtesy and considerate behavior toward others.

Hilliard has been a disappointment. Not sure what happened. Sacrificed speed for size? Got fat? Injury? Dunno.

i think its some combination of he got to big, injury, mentally can't handle the game. its perplexing that this seems to happen to LSU so much.

I remember watching him in 2011 spring game and he looked really quick. But after summer and season started he looked bigger but lost a half step...which for a RB is eternity. Bulked up too much? I don't know but he's certainly not the Hilliard that originally came here.
