Both of these teams are based on divebomb, hail mary plays, and neither can connect in this weather.

If they'd just learn to have sustained drives then this might not be happening.

Was just thinking the same thing. We ran it 52 times today because it was almost impossible to drop back and pass effectively in our game. It's raining even harder in this game and yet they're just trying to throw it or run it laterally.

My post in the MSB:

quote:

So far what from what I have seen in this game. Arkansas, LSU, Bama, Ole Miss, MSU, or TN would win this slop fest going away simply by having a running game.

Baylor is on their 3rd string QB and Boykin is playing on an ankle that would keep most people home from work.

But go ahead and about two offenses having trouble in this slop if it makes you feel better.

You mean a Boykin that is being held together by tape and glue and Baylor on their third QB are having trouble moving the football? No way!!!

SEC Teams struggle on offense: Due to great SEC defenes
SEC Teams succeed on offense: Great QBs, defense still solid

Non-SEC teams struggle on offense: Terrible teams that can't sustain a drive
Non-SEC teams succeed on offense: Terrible defenses, clearly nothing to do with solid QB play and play calling

Neither of those things has anything to do with WR's dropping open passes left and right.

This isn't a stiff dew. This is an utter downpour in 25 degree wind chill.
Plus, the field isn't holding up too well.

So the downpour has nothing to do with that?

They said it was mixing with freezing rain earlier...and TCUs dance line is still in the stands in booty shorts. Props to them for their dedication, I guess.

And that's what I'm saying, their offenses are built on dive bombs, and they can't connect right now, so they're stalling. So, how am I wrong here?

Just come out and admit it. You want a pat on the back for being a fan of a school in the SEC that plays big boy football.

Man, you sure are grateful to be a fan of Alabama

might it be b/c that isnt what their offenses are actually based on?

Baylor has had three or four bombs that have been missed because they are on their 3rd QB. Just happened 1 minute ago. KD Cannon was wide open but their 3rd QB missed it

That people drop footballs in the rain? I don't see how the SEC would be any different
