Remember when they thought aggy was crazy to fire Byrne, who clearly got us to our rightful ceiling (6-7 wins a year in football, great non revenue sports, a fitting football stadium, a spot in the Big 12)? Maybe they should show us how much they meant it and hire him.

Desperate ploy to get Saban as AD/Head Coach ala Chip Kelly.

The horns just do not take rejection well. Expect drunk calls and texts to Tuscaloosa at 3 AM most Sundays.

First rumor to hit social media is that money people at Texas may push to make Mack Brown AD. If they're dumb enough to consider that I think they might actually consider Jay Jacobs.

I'd say it's worth a shot at least.

It's not just that Texas fired Mack Brown, they have made him the scapegoat of every problem Charlie Strong has had. It's all Mack's fault for leaving a cupboard full of 4 and 5 star players that are "too soft" for Strong.

Luck has to be the overwhelming favorite. He's a sip alum and is working for the NCAA so he can leave whenever.

Ours is temporary until the right replacement is available. Battle is an old, incredibly rich man that is doing this as a favor to Mal.

OM better watch out or they might lose Bjork

This was my first thought and it worries me a bit. Bjorn has been very good for us.
